VALITS 2.0 – Kick-off meeting

The first meeting of the Valits 2.0 project was held in Saalfelden (Austria). Representatives from all partner organizations attended the two-day meeting 20-21 January 2020.

Project Valits 2.0 is for disadvantaged groups and low skilled persons. Informal Transversal Skills are often the “key” to access a job and are likely to become essential in today’s work environment. Whilst digital and technological developments replace many low skilled jobs, it is increasingly important to have skills that cannot be replaced by computers or robots.

During the meeting, the partnership from Spain, Poland, Denmark, Austria and Portugal discussed the project stages that were presented by the coordinator at the beginning of the meeting. The partners also set a list of actions that have to be done before the projects next meeting which will take place in May 2020 in Rzeszow, Poland.
