LTTA training as part of the “Math and Motivation” project

From 5th to 9th of March, in the picturesque Italian town of Pontedera, an LTTA training event was organized within the framework of the “Math and Motivation” project. Partners from Bulgaria, Poland, Spain, Romania, Italy, Croatia and Portugal met to train and deepen their knowledge on the methodology of cooperative learning and to learn how to implement it online as an e-learning tool.
The first day of the meeting started with a presentation of each participant’s organisation, followed by expectations and concerns related to the training. The Italian partner then presented the division methods used in mathematics by teachers at schools. On the following days, a collaborative learning method was developed, as well as a curriculum that provoked discussion among the participants. Danmar Computers, the company responsible for creating this project’s e-instruments, shared the activities undertaken in this area so far.
On the last day of the training, the participants went to the Piaggio Museum to meet with teachers from local schools. Finally, a national training schedule was prepared and time was devoted to the evaluation of the concluded LTTA training.
