On November 12 – 16, the first partners meeting and training were held as part of the Diversity Inclusion Citizenship Empowerment (DICE) project.
The aim of this project is to develop an integrated, innovative approach in favor of social inclusion, diversity and European citizenship for professionals working with newcomers to develop more effective integration programs and therefor have an greater impact on new comers (NC).
On the first day issues related to management and daily administration of the project were discussed, partners shared upcoming tasks and specified the assumptions contained in the application. The next 4 days were dedicated to the training of the project staff, and the main themes were: Diversity, Inclusion, European Citizenship & Empowerment. The training was also actively participated by immigrants who talked about their experiences and willingly joined in the discussions.
