The first meeting within the ENGAGE project (ENhancinG Adults key competences to promote and encode effective cooperation between Education and labor market) took place in the capital of Cyprus – Nicosia – on the 7th and 8th of December 2017. The meeting, hosted by the Cypriot company M.K. INNOVATIONS, was attended by all project partners from Romania, Greece, Portugal, Italy and Poland. The core meeting discussion was on the organization of work principles in the whole project and the nearest activities. The project is addressed to people with low qualifications, especially so-called NEETs and jobseekers who would like to raise their skills in: problem solving, critical thinking, creativity and teamwork. The project’s aim is also to facilitate the “matching” of young employees and employers by providing high-quality education options tailored to the needs of low-qualified young adults. The city of Nicosia, besides the meeting place for project partnership, was an opportunity to enjoy the sun and beautiful nature.
