PESES – Newsletter #1

Welcome to the 1st edition of the PESES Project newsletter!

PESES is a two-year project funded by the Erasmus+ programme, which is focused on promoting the concept of environmental sustainability and sustainability education in schools with the collaboration of social and economic stakeholders. It aims at encouraging students to be more sustainable in their everyday lives through the use of Digital storytelling (DST) as an innovative tool. This project aims to help educators to transmit important information about what it means to be sustainable and how they can share this effectively with their students.  This knowledge will surely empower members of our society, young and adults, to take actions towards a more sustainable lifestyle. The use of DST will allow students to have a creative output and to use this as a tool for educators to create more self-led sessions that support students to be proactive and think for themselves. It also encourages sharing ideas and creating bonds between students and teachers in order to reach the common goal of promoting more sustainable practices in order to help the environment.
