DARE kick-off meeting

DARE (DisAble the barRiErs) is a new project that was inaugurated on the 9th of April 2019. The meeting was held at the coordinator’s office, i.e. Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. in Dresno, Germany. The purpose of the kick-off meeting was to communicate the objectives of the project and explain the roles of each partner. Representatives from all the partnering organisations attended the two-day meeting April 9-10.

The first day of the meeting started with a warm welcome from the project coordinator (and host), followed by presentations of partnering organisations. Afterwards came time for discussions on the project management, appointment of committee members and scheduling key activities.

The second day was focused on best practices and expertise of each project activity/intellectual output leader organization. Time was also allocated to speaking about financial aspects of the project, project quality and dissemination.

Partners will next meet in Larissa 12-13 September, 2019, where they will discuss in more detail works on the first project outputs (research stage and audio-visual material).
