Another meeting as part of the MICE project

The fourth meeting of the MICE (Multicultural Care in European Intensive Care Units) project took place in Ostrava April 23-24 this year. The meeting began with the introduction speech and welcome to all participants by the representative from the University of Ostrava. Then an action plan was presented for the next two days of the meeting, accepted by all meeting participants.

The first issue raised during the meeting was the on-line course, which was created with the help of all partners. This course is addressed to nurses from Intensive Care Units and is aimed at extending their knowledge, skills and competences regarding the care of patients from another cultural or other religion.

The partners then discussed the multiplayer event that will take place in each of the partner countries. The organization of a seminar devoted to multicultural medical care in the ICU, which will take place in Amsterdam on September 14, 2018, was also discussed in detail.

Finally, the partners discussed topics related to project dissemination and planned further project activities.
