The representatives of Danmar Computers took part in a short training course (LTTA), organized within YEP project. The training was organized and hosted by University of Thessaly, in Volos (Greece), from 3rd to 7th July 2017. The host of the training did an excellent job by providing best learning and cultural experience. The project is about mentoring in the subject of entrepreneurship. It aims at creating a training course for young entrepreneurs to enable them to mentor elderly people on how to start a business. Training started with a presentation by an experienced mentor and founder of Academy of Entrepreneurship, who has been able to show the participants the practical aspect of the mentoring process. He provided many inspiring examples and success stories. Another interesting part of the LTTA, that should be mentioned, was a workshop conducted by a professor from University of Thessalia, specializing in psychology of learning. She helped the participants to understand the psychological aspects of the mentoring process and together we managed to create a list of characteristics of a successful mentor.
The subsistent part of the training was brainstorming sessions, conducted every day, led by different partners, depending on their experience and expertise. They concerned aspects like entrepreneurship and psychology. Participant had a chance to get to know each other and to establish a valuable, professional relationship. The discussion involved also the topic of Social Platform that is going to be developed as one of the project results.
