The meeting to launch the FLIMCO – Financial Literacy in Marginal Rights project was held in Salerno. The project aims to improve the financial skills of marginalized and disadvantaged groups, with particular emphasis on women. Increasing these skills will positively influence the social integration of the above-mentioned groups, because when referring to “financial skills”, we refer to the “combination of awareness, knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviours necessary to make sound financial decisions, which lead to individual financial well-being”.
The project involves the creation of three products: a guide on the relationship between financial literacy and the cultural aspects of marginalized communities, the framework for the course on financial literacy and its online version.
The host of the meeting in Italy was Essenia UETP, an organization operating in the field of international mobility, which, thanks to the high quality of services provided, received the Mobility Quality Charter in the VET Mobility Charter sector.
