e-CAL – Meeting in Rzeszów

In Rzeszow, at the headquarters of Danmar Computers, on 22nd and 23rd of June this year, there was a partners’ meeting within “e-Coaching et Apprentissage des Langues” project, implemented under the Erasmus+ programme.

The representatives of all partner institutions of the project, including France, Great Britain, Italy, Poland and Austria, attended the meeting. Partners discussed the results of the output number 1 – State of art and analysis about methods on supporting L2 self-directed learning by using web based OER. Petra Patrimonia Corsica has presented the main findings of State of art and main issues to consider in guides and e-courses development. Forium has presented the progress work done on version 1 of O2. The structure defined for the guide is based on Chamon model of language learning that requires four metacognitive processes: Planning, Implementing, Monitoring and Evaluating. Both sections, addressing learners and supporters, are developed following these 4 metacognitive processes and focusing on L2 learning. However, as highlighted by ELC and Forium, O2 within the overall e-CAL products needed to be clearly defined because of its highly impact on the development of the e-courses.

Partners agreed on the work plan to follow, regarding development of intellectual output no 2.

Last part of the meeting covered the main management topics, dissemination tasks and results and other issues raised by the partners.

Next project meeting is planned to take place in Empoli, Italy, on 3rd and 4th of April 2017.
