ACE – Kick-off meeting in Liverpool

The first meeting in the frame of ACE Project – Developing Adult Educators’ Competences to Promote Learners’ Life Style Entrepreneurship was held in Liverpool on 5th – 6th November 2015.

ACE project relates to adult education and employment in Europe. It refers to the idea of Europe 2020 strategic objective to increase employment rate by 75% in the European Union, and at the same time to develop basic and specific competences of adult educators practitioners.
The project aims are to develop the basic and specific adult educators’ competences concerning working with disadvantaged learners and concentrating on innovative ways of outreach and delivery of learning activities. Moreover, by providing necessary knowledge and information to adult learners with limited opportunities and coming from disadvantaged backgrounds, it gives them an access to adult learning services and the possibilities for employment, based on their lifestyles, abilities and talents.
The meeting was very well prepared and professionally conducted by coordinator of the project. It was attended by representatives of all partner organizations from: Lithuania, Bulgaria, England, Poland and Cyprus. Participants shared their tasks in the project, special attention was paid to the dissemination of results and purpose of risk management plan.
