ACE – 2nd transnational meeting

The second meeting of the project Developing Adult Educators ‘Competencies to Promote Learners’ Lifestyle Entrepreneurship – ACE was held in Sofia on 6th  – 7th  June 2016.

ACE project relates to adult education and employment in Europe. It refers to the idea of Europe 2020 strategic objective to increase employment rate by 75% in the European Union, and at the same time to develop basic and specific competences of adult educators.

The meeting was hosted by the Association Know and Can Bulgaria. In the first day of the meeting current activities in the project have been reviewed. Also the result of the first intellectual output was analyzed. While working in group,  the modules from 1 to 5 have been proofread and feedback was given.  Moreover, practical exercises prepared before the meeting, related to each module, were conducted. On the second day of the meeting there was a presentation of  „success video i written stores”  with films and descriptions of people who have succeeded with their business activities, using their hobbies and skills. Representative of Danmar Computers introduced  a website and the draft of the e-learning platform.

The meeting was very well prepared and professionally conducted by coordinator of the project. It was attended by representatives of all partner organizations from: Lithuania, Bulgaria, England, Poland and Cyprus. Participants shared their tasks in the project, special attention was paid to the dissemination of results and preparation of training for adult educators, which will be held in Cyprus.
