PEACE – Socrates Grundtvig 2

The aim of the project was to improve the parental relationship between the three groups of beneficiaries: parents of immigrant or ethnic minorities, parents of children with disabilities and their parents living in rural areas. The project promotes self-esteem and self-confidence among the beneficiaries, the use of modern methodologies and informal forms of education.
During the implementation of the project in each country was organized the Open Day, aimed at ensuring dialogue between parents, the exchange of experiences and how to deal with similar problems. There have been collected good practices related to the support of families of children with disabilities, immigrant families and those who live far away from urban centers. Practices were published in book form and translated. Partners also developed a guide to the Internet for parents of the target groups.
