Surveys among tourist guides in Poland going according to the schedule. So far, we have carried out 14 questionnaires with guides and 3 depth interviews with stakeholders. Reaching the target group is a challenge due to the fact that the guides are very busy and active professional group. At the same time, we have conducted the analysis about current situation on the basis of existing sources (reports, research results).
Existing results confirm that main thesis of the project: to strengthen the linguistic qualifications of tourist guides is necessary. This will positively affect on improving services provided by the guides as well as their situation on the labor market.
We would like to thank all the guides, who have already participated in the study, for the commitment and feedback. Others are invited to cooperation.
