Project description

The Digi Ready (Citizens’ Digital Readiness) project aims to develop an easy-to-follow training model that will help adults from vulnerable groups, possessing very basic digital skills, adapt to society’s current digitalisation needs. The gap between society’s digital expectations and individuals’ ability to understand and use digital tools is becoming increasingly urgent.

This initiative focuses on creating informal learning opportunities for all citizens and generations, empowering adults with low digital skills to actively participate in social life. The project also equips trainers and counselors working with adults with practical AI-based tools supporting the creation and dissemination of educational materials.

Target Groups

The project is directed at three main target audiences:

  1. Adults from vulnerable groups with low digital skills, facing challenges in integrating into their communities (both socially and professionally). This group includes migrants, refugees, the elderly, individuals with unstable family environments, and those economically or educationally excluded.
  2. Educators working in adult education, particularly those supporting the first target group. The project equips them with AI-supported digital competences.
  3. Stakeholders, other trainers, counselors, and individuals with low digital skills who were not directly involved in the project but can benefit from the developed results.

Project Results

  • A set of simple tutorials: Practical step-by-step instructions on using digital tools to solve the most urgent identified challenges.
  • National workshops and training for trainers: Workshops in each partner country for adults with low digital skills and upskilling sessions for trainers, focusing on the adaptation of digital tools and training formats.
  • Promotional videos: Production of 3 videos containing participants’ testimonials and experiences, aimed at motivating others to learn.
