Project number: 2017-1-ES01-KA202-038435
Implementation period: 01.09.2017 – 31.08.2020

Project description

The link between craft sectors and ICT technologies is disappearing. This project’s objective is to support the professional development of handicraft teachers and trainers in Europe in their transition to the digital age.

Two target groups can be distinguished within the project’s framework:

  • Handicraft teachers and trainers
  • Craftsmen, taking part in piloting phases

Crafts 3.0 aims at improving teaching competencies through ICT based methods and tools. As a result, vocational education training – VET – will become a more innovative area of education. The project will prepare handicraft teachers and trainers to take their teaching practice a step ahead to the next generation of high tech digital tools and cutting edge machinery, like 3D printers or laser cutting.

The following results will be created and implemented by the end of the project:

  • European ECVET Curriculum on ICT-based teaching-learning methods in VET for craft sectors
  • Training Modules on ICT-based teaching-learning methods in VET for craft sectors
  • Mobile Instructional Learning APP
  • Multilingual eLearning Platform
  • Set of Mobile Learning APPS
  • Guide for validation, certification and accreditation on ICT-based innovative teaching-learning methods in VET for craft sectors
