Project description

The aim of the RAW project is to raise awareness on effective waste management among employees of chambers of commerce, regional development agencies, local authorities and centres for entrepreneurship development, but also VET teachers, trainers and mentors.

RAW fosters symbiosis and cooperation between municipalities and entrepreneurs disrupting stereotypical behaviours on handling waste.

The following topics are the key focus of the RAW project:

  1. Recycling from consumption
  2. Recycling from manufacturing
  3. Refurbishing/remanufacture (up-cycling)
  4. Reuse/ redistribution
  5. Usage optimization/maintenance
  6. Sustainable design
  7. Use waste as a resource

RAW will deliver two main results:

  1. Guide on circular economy strategies in business environment
  2. Circular economy awareness app

The methodological guide will take the form of case studies by professionals already demonstrating a sustainable approach in their business activities and straightforward methodology tackling efficient waste management, it will be the fundamental material for the implementation of the digital crash course. The app will be composed of three main parts: learning pills, strategy maker and carbon footprint tracker.
