The Vardakeios team, partnering in the Healthnic Diet project, was the host of the recently held Learning Teaching Training Activity held in Syros, Greece. Participants included representatives from Italy, Poland, Greece and the UK, fruitfully collaborating in this project’s development.
LTTA participants gathered between the 25th and 30th of June to work through the key contents of the Practical Guide to Healthnic Diet Workshops. This gave the opportunity to discuss traditional cuisines and food habits, along with modes for preparing and then conducting workshops on food. To come up with new ideas, participants were involved in cooking workshops themselves. This resulted in fresh ideas, which will be taken into account while further project development.
The event was also a possibility to discuss any relevant project management topics among project managers, plan next activities and share national implementation strategies.
The next Healthnic Diet meeting will be hosted by Danmar Computers in January 2019.
