SAFE project begins!

Project SAFE (Smart Apps for Adults Education) has started in Lisbon (Portugal). The project will support adult learners and teachers in effective use and development of educational apps The meeting was hosted by Almada Forma – teacher training institution in Emidio Navarro Secondary School.

For three days, from 9 to 11 March, partners worked intensively preparing for the project implementation. On the first day after the partners’ representatives presented their organisations, issues concerning the project’s objectives, management and website were discussed. On the second day partners focused on dissemination, establishing project’s logo and creation of the 1st newsletter.

Last day of the meeting was devoted to the main result that creation of new apps. Due to great cultural visits organised by the host, partners had a chance to combine work with learning. Apart from visit to the school, we were also invited by Mayor of local municipality and explored the city of Lisbon and surrounding area. Next time partners of SAFE project will meet in Rzeszów (Poland) in July 2017, were they will learn how to create educational apps.
