Introducing PeakED project: Empowering Youth for Mountain Ecosystem Conservation

Mountain ecosystems are vital components of global biodiversity, yet they face unprecedented environmental challenges. To address this, we are thrilled to introduce the PeakED project (Environmental Involvement and Education for young entrepreneur and volunteers), an innovative initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

PeakED aims to catalyze socio-economic development in mountain areas while championing environmental conservation. By utilizing the “Living Labs” concept, the project creates dynamic platforms where local communities, youth, and stakeholders co-create sustainable solutions.

The project is driven by a strong international partnership from across Europe and the Middle East, including Innovation Hive, AENOL and WellGrow (Greece), Balkan Bridge (Bulgaria), Danmar Computers (Poland), Desert Bloom (Jordan). Together, we are building a network to combat biodiversity loss, empower young volunteers and align with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Stay tuned as we work to bring sustainable innovation to our mountain landscapes!
