One of the paradigms most impacting our daily lives is the adaptation of existing courses using assistive technologies, which can overcome dyslexic students&#8217; limited access to large-scale courses. Despite the tangible benefits of innovative approaches to teaching, there are serious gaps: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lack of knowledge and awareness about adult dyslexia;<\/li>\n<li>Lack of a common learning and teaching mechanism and relevant standards.<\/li>\n<li>Adequate information sharing between adult education providers<\/li>\n<li>lack of tools to personalise and enhance curricula and provide the necessary educational resources, including digital ones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The project aimes at:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>enforcing the understanding that dyslexia is a widespread phenomenon in Europe and worldwide and it requires a coordinated response;<\/li>\n<li>providing adult educators with the technical competence they need to teach in more efficient ways;<\/li>\n<li>Increasing educators&#8217; knowledge to identify the distinguishing symptoms of adult dyslexia and understand how the condition differs in manifestation and degree of difficulty;<\/li>\n<li>facilitating adults with dyslexia to increase their confidence in reading and writing, to improve their quality of work and thus to be able to function and learn independently;<\/li>\n<li>increasing the quality and relevance of activities in the adult dyslexia field, provided by partner organisations; to expand their networks, raise their capacity to cooperate at transnational level, enhancing internationalization of their action.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Target group<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adult Educators<\/li>\n<li>Adult people with dyslexia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Project results<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Output 1\u00a0(WP2) aims to develop a Handbook on Common Dyslexia Signs and Remediation Strategies addressed to adult educators, that will provide a general understanding of the signs and symptoms of dyslexia as well as the most effective dyslexia strategies for remediation.<\/li>\n<li>The main aim of\u00a0Output 2\u00a0(WP3) is to develop and deliver a training package comprising of 5 video-modules.<\/li>\n<li>The aim of\u00a0Output 3\u00a0(WP4) is to create and develop an online platform that will serve as an e-learning space.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Partners <\/u><\/p>\n<p>Education In Progress, Messina, Italy (coordinator)<\/p>\n<p>University of Latvia, Riga, Latvia<\/p>\n<p>Eurospeak, Dublin, Ireland<\/p>\n<p>European Knowledge Spot, Athens, \u00a0Greece<\/p>\n<p>Asociacia Dyslexia, Ruse, Bulgaria<\/p>\n<p>Danmar Computers, Rzesz\u00f3w, Poland<\/p>\n<p>Project website: <a href=\"https:\/\/dygi4adu.eu\/\">https:\/\/dygi4adu.eu\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"opis-projektu-stopka\">\n<div class=\"wiersz\">\n<div class=\"logo\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1123 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/danmar-computers.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/erasmus-300x86.png\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/danmar-computers.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/erasmus-300x86.png 300w, https:\/\/danmar-computers.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/erasmus-350x100.png 350w, https:\/\/danmar-computers.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/erasmus.png 943w\" alt=\"erasmus\" width=\"300\" height=\"86\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"fraza\">This project has been funded with support from the European Commission.
