<\/i> Project description<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Traditional models and tools for education have to change and take into account rapid development of information technology and growing presence of mobile apps in education. Effective teacher is the one who can make a good use of these emerging trends, and the schools that recognize and best utilize the potential of mobile apps will became education leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n

Project SAFE was about information technology and its effective use in education. The project was targeted at teachers and aimed to develop and strengthen their knowledge and skills in ICT, educational apps in particular. This required doing research, including the analysis of teachers\u2019 knowledge concerning the use of education apps, and their needs with respect to this subject. Apart from that, an e-Guide on safe use of the Internet and mobile applications was created, teachers from partner countries took part in hands-on workshops, where they learned to develop their own applications and as a main result of the project, new education apps were created.<\/p>\n
