{"id":2267,"date":"2016-01-15T16:34:50","date_gmt":"2016-01-15T14:34:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/danmar-computers.com.pl\/?p=2267"},"modified":"2016-04-07T09:54:13","modified_gmt":"2016-04-07T07:54:13","slug":"print-stem-meeting-in-rzeszow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/danmar-computers.com.pl\/en\/wydarzenia\/print-stem-meeting-in-rzeszow\/","title":{"rendered":"PRINT STEM – meeting in Rzesz\u00f3w"},"content":{"rendered":"On 12 and 13 January 2016, at the premises of Danmar company (Rzesz\u00f3w), the fourth meeting of PrintStem project\u2019s partners took place. All the partners\u2019 organizations participated in the meeting.<\/p>\n

PrintStem project aims at promoting the use of innovative technologies in teaching science. The innovation here is the implementation of 3D printers, that is being realized in partner schools. The enthusiasm and commitment of teachers who carried out experiments in their schools, shows that 3D printer is an exceptional tool in teaching sciences, as well as supporting learners independence and project work (idea, design, model, product). Some of the experiments carried out by the schools started with teachers and students agreeing on an idea, then going through the phase of designing and printing, to finally appear in a physical form at our company. Very interesting element of the meeting was also a video chat with students of Berenini school and a short movie presented by Kirkby Stephen, showing a gripping experiment, that involved designing and launching of a rocket.<\/p>\n

In accordance with the agenda, during the first day of the meeting, the partners also planned further experiments and working in groups they discussed means of reaching and providing evidence of the results IO3, IO4 and IO5.<\/p>\n

The next day partners focused on dissemination issues and tasks and they agreed on the date of next meeting.<\/p>\n

The next meeting will take place on 14 and 15 April, in Chania (Greece).<\/p>\n
