Project description

The project’s objective is to support the professional development of trainers and educators to expand and develop their digital skills for the purpose of teaching. The project aims to raise awareness on the necessity of digital pedagogy in classes.  The main project target group includes trainers, especially with low level of digital skills, teaching languages, especially to migrants. However, the project also targets teaching and training institutions.

Shaping Digital Classes project respects the assumptions of the DigComEdu Framework – Assessing Educators Professional Digital Competences. Project Partners will be working around the four out of six areas described in the mentioned framework, namely:

  • Digital Resources
  • Teaching and Learning
  • Assessment
  • Empowering Learners

The project includes the development of an online learning platform, with courses in the form of video tutorials, an alternative to traditional text-only contents.

In specific, the following results will be created and implemented by the end of the project implementation period:

  • Desk research on digital skills of language teachers
  • Three courses on digital skills for language teachers
  • Tutorials – digital representation of training content
  • Online learning platform

All developed results will be available through the project website.
